On track success for NGK

NGK has enjoyed much on-track success at recent motorsport events across various different formats. 


NGK Ambassador Charlie Martin has continued to impress in the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship. The British driver took pole position in her qualifying session at the second round of the series at NOLA Motorsports Park in Louisiana before finishing fourth in very 

Meanwhile at Brands Hatch NGK sponsored Max Coates grabbed his first win of the Quaife MINI CHALLENGE season in a dramatic final race.  In his Primex Plastics sponsored car, Yorkshireman Max  the fastest driver in damp and wet conditions in Sunday’s two races as the hot hatch race series supported the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at the Kent venue.

Max finished 7th in the first race before completing an impressive victory in the second in very wet conditions. 

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs said, “Congratulations go to Max who pulled off a tremendously gritty win at Brands Hatch and will continue to press hard throughout the rest of what will undoubtedly continue to be a very exciting series.”

On two wheels NGK-sponsored motorcycle star Brayden Elliott also celebrated a famous victory in the 2022 Pirelli National Superstock championship. The Australian followed up his second place for the CFS Filtration No Bull Racing team in the third race of the series at Oulton Park with his first championship victory and a fourth place in the latest two latest rounds at Donington Park.

Brayden commented, “I finally got my first win on the weekend. Six years of trying and we finally did it. It’s taken me a while to know what to say, I’m still lost for words. Dreams do come true and we are just at the beginning.”
