Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs will be taking centre stage at the 30th Autosport International show in Birmingham next month.


This annual pre-season event covers all areas of motorsport, both professional and grass roots, from karting right up to Formula One. Featuring the very latest in motorsport, automotive and performance engineering technology, alongside cars, stars and exhibitors from every level of motor racing, it is being held at the NEC on January 9-12, 2020.

The event caters for the industry and motorsport fans alike with the trade days on Thursday, January 9 and Friday, January 10 strictly reserved for trade buyers, suppliers and industry professionals.

Renowned for supplying original equipment spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and other engine management sensors, NGK has partnered some of the most famous Formula One, Rally and other four-wheel teams and drivers to numerous race victories and titles and is sure to attract the crowds.

The NGK stand (1340) will feature its MO70 Dragmower which is believed to have become the fastest lawnmower over 1/4 mile after completing the distance in just 9.49 seconds with a top speed of 115.53mph and also the fastest accelerating lawnmower by reaching 102.64mph in 5.44 seconds.

The stand will also a classic American Studebaker Lark car, together with a game pod where enthusiasts can test their driving skills on a track simulator with the fastest participants winning a great prize.
