New name in Supercar stable

Bugatti, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Ferrari, are names you may normally associate with supercars, but get ready to add a new more unlikely name to the list: Keating.

This will be the badge of a new UK supercar company that will introduce a two- model range this month. It seems the owners are serious about breaking into the elite group of prestige carmakers, and will not be content to make minority one offs. The project has already been eight years in development, with two high profile models planned. Keating say its top of the range TKR will have more power than an F1 racecar, while the SKR will share a similar body style but offer the comfort of a GT tourer. To illustrate how serious they are about mixing it with the big boys, Keating say that in private testing its TKR has already out performed the speed record set by the Bugatti Veyron.
