Have you noticed how radio controlled model cars seem to be getting bigger and bigger? Well they don’t come much bigger than this, a full size Hummer H3 that can be driven by pocket sized radio-controlled receiver.

The car has been converted to run by remote control to showcase the unique capabilities of the off-road machine and no doubt to generate a little extra PR. The engineering on the project was done not by Hummer, but by a team from Cranfield University in the UK. A spokesman said, "It took a month but we had lots of fun in the process and the results are clear. All controllers will be amazed by the handling ability – the best any radio-controlled vehicle has had yet.” Boys and their toys!
