Paul Hunt has been appointed Managing Director, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Ireland, responsible for the Group’s activities in the Irish market.  He replaces Gerry Clarke, who has elected to retire after 30 years of service.

Reporting to Steve Zanlunghi, Managing Director, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK, Paul Hunt will oversee operations for all functions and brands throughout the Ireland region.

“I am very much looking forward to this new challenge,” says Paul Hunt. “Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is clearly growing and evolving, with some hugely popular and successful models already in its portfolio and planned for the future.  I am really looking forward to using those vehicles to help grow our market share in Ireland.”

Mr Hunt brings to the Ireland Managing Director role a high level of experience in sales, marketing and dealer operations. He was previously Head of Sales & Planning: Volkswagen Ireland Passenger Cars, and has also held product planning, marketing and sales roles with Citroen Motors Ireland, Mazda Motors Ireland and Peugeot Motor Company UK.

Married with two children, he holds a BA in Economic and Social History from the University of Hull. Mr Hunt includes running and playing football among his hobbies.
