MAHLE Aftermarket has announced the launch of its new filter catalogues for automotive and commercial vehicle applications for both its MAHLE Original and Knecht brands.
The global original equipment (OE) component and systems manufacturer has introduced a 2015 Car & Van filtration catalogue which at 945 pages is its biggest ever. The catalogue features 65 new part numbers, which adds hundreds of additional applications, to provide 97% vehicle parc coverage.
Covering air, cabin, fuel and oil filters and with comprehensive cross referencing data, the publications features the MAHLE Original and Knecht filter brands respectively to provide users with a single point of reference for all relevant vehicle applications.
Alongside the printed versions, the information can be accessed online through the company’s portal www.mahle-aftermarket.com under the CATALOG heading and with additional functionality and faster search options.
Part of this process is to include a full-text search option in the top-right corner, so whether using an OE number, engine name, vehicle model, MAHLE/Knecht sales identifier or another keyword, the new tool generates a swift list of suggestions. The online version is also designed with smartphones and tablets in mind. Therefore, all parts are illustrated with product images, with a horizontal comparison of up to four products from a single product group, including pictures and specifications and there is also an index of most frequently used technical terms and common abbreviations.
