Waste Management specialist Soltec (Ireland) has introduced a new pre audit service to help bodyshops prepare for their statuary compliance inspection under S.I 564 of 2012. This inspection is required in order to obtain a certificate of compliance from Local Authorities.

With local authorities stepping up their enforcement activities, ensuring bodyshops conform to environmental regulations and are correctly registered this new service will prove to be vital. Bernie Moore is coordinating the new service. She comments, “Our new service can help bodyshops with the required record keeping, training and documentation. We provide advice and a comprehensive pre-audit folder that can greatly simplify the process.” She adds, “We can also use our extensive experience in waste management to look at a workshop and highlight areas where inspectors may have concerns. The service really makes life easier for busy bodyshop operators and means that they can go into their compliance assessment inspection with complete confidence.”

The new service is available to all bodyshops regardless of whether they currently utilise Soltec (Ireland) services. Bodyshops that do make use of Soltec (Ireland) waste management services such as waste collection can claim a rebate on the cost.

For more information call Bernie Moore at Soltec (Ireland) on 044-933-5133 or email bernie@soltec.ie
