Minimising bodyshop dust is not only vital for finish quality, but also means a safer, healthier working environment for staff. Mirka has been a leader when it comes to keeping dust under control for many years through its range of innovative equipment and abrasives. A prime example of this are  Mirka Gold Multi-hole discs, which feature unique hole patterns which provide excellent dust extraction to keep a shop clean and dust-free.

Better dust extraction translates into productivity growth with less clogging of the abrasive surface increasing speed and disc durability. This means a superior quality finish can be achieved in less time and using less material.

Mirka Gold is a durable, all-round abrasive which is very well suited for high speed sanding in a multitude of applications. Gold features a semi-open and special stearate coating designed to prevent clogging and pill forming, which helps achieve optimal sanding results.

Gold 150 mm (6”) discs are available with the new patterns, which have 37 holes for coarser grits and 121 holes for finer grits. These are available from Mirka stockists.
