Goldhofer, the German market-leader in heavy-haulage trailers and US transport specialist Berard Transportation have teamed for a mega move of two oil platforms weighing 4,000 and 3,500 tonnes form from Louisiana to Alaska.  

One of the big problems was moving the platforms to their shipping dock and Goldhofer were called in to come up with a solution, self-propelling super-structures with no fewer than 144 axles and 1,152 wheels.
