Lexus has revealed plans to enter the premium hatch market with an all-new hybrid vehicle shown for the first time in Frankfurt. The new LF-Ch is expected to enter the market next year, in a sector currently dominated by the German made Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series hatch.

The new model will be a five-door equipped with the Toyota/Lexus Hybrid Drive system, which can be driven in an all-electric mode when required.
