loyal staff for their service over the years.”

Based on the Tuam Road in Galway, the signature building has been taken control of by the receivers and trading has ceased although the company has been solvent and showing a profit in recent years. .

Meanwhile a spokesperson for Volvo Car Ireland said: "We are working closely with Brian Kenny who has stated that he will look after his customers where possible, and that he is looking for new premises. In the interim, customers of Kenny Galway can log on to www.volvocars.ie/findadealer to find their nearest Volvo sales and servicing dealership.”
