Japanparts offers comprehensive wheel hub and bearing solution

Japanparts has highlighted the importance of checking wheel hubs and bearings and the importance of the right choice of replacements when required.

The company says that drivers and some mechanics often think that worn bearings and hubs can, in the worst case, only create an annoying noise when the vehicle is running. In truth, a worn bearing causes, in the long run, excessive hub clearance with a misalignment of the set up affecting the entire suspension assembly, as well as brakes and tyres. This accelerates wear on associated parts and can seriously compromise safety on the road.

The Japanparts Group has recently expanded its range of wheel hubs and bearings and now offers some 92% coverage of on-road vehicles. It has over 1,000 codes available for Asian, European and American vehicles, and has added to its catalogue both for bearings and hubs with integrated ABS ring.

Japanparts  says its hubs and bearings have a 24 month warranty and offer a product alternative of a quality level equal to that of the original. They are made of carbon-chrome steel subjected to depth or induction hardening, depending on the type, to increase resistance and dimensional stability. They also have extremely accurate tolerance so as to ensure minimum rolling stress and longer product life.

The new wheel hub and bearing units are provided with ABS sensor/ring where applicable.
