Hyundai is now firmly established as one of the leading Car Brands in Ireland.

Hyundai, Ireland's fastest growing car brand, are delighted to confirm they are now firmly established as one of the leading car brands in Ireland.

Hyundai's continuing sales growth has moved the brand into 4th place on the Irish car market, well ahead of other brands such as Nissan, Skoda, Audi, BMW, Renault, Peugeot and Opel. This growth is represented by an increase in market share from 6.0% in 2012 to 8.9% in 2013, the highest market share increase of any brand.

Hyundai's growth in market share confirms the growing acceptance of the Hyundai brand by Irish consumers which is  based on cutting edge models, backed up by Hyundai's unbeatable quality and its unique 5 Year unlimited mileage warranty,

Commenting on the good start to the year, Stephen Gleeson MD Hyundai Ireland told Autobiz, "Naturally we are delighted with the positive start to the year. Due to the worldwide growth of the brand supply is a struggle for us and  keeping up with the demand in Ireland will be a challenge".

"This may restrict our growth for 2013 but the long term objective of a 10%+ market share and a top 3 position is clearly attainable", said Stephen.

Hyundai Dealers nationwide are reporting a high level of conquest business where consumers are choosing to leave other car brands and migrate to Hyundai.
