Chinese car maker Great Wall Motors is dropping the name of their electric Ora Funky Cat 

The Ora Funky Cat launched here in 2022 will be renamed the GWM Ora 03 to enhance the brands strength in the European market. Also, due to arrive here later, the ORA Lightening Cat will now be known as the GWM Ora 07

In other parts of Europe they will also be changing their Wey Hybrid cars where the Wey Coffee 01 becomes the GWM Wey 05 and the Wey Coffee 02 the GWM Wey 03. 

All European markets will change from January 2024. It is expected that there will be a phased-in period in certain markets to allow time to move on existing stock.
