GKN has made its range of high-quality special tools for repairing vehicle driveshafts available in a new heavy-duty, clearly organised tooling box, providing an efficient and time saving solution for use in the workshop.

Special tools are indispensable aids for time and cost-saving in the workshop. Use of special tools is often recommended by manufacturers to provide safe and reliable repairs. They facilitate disassembly and are used to apply the right torque when securing clamps.

The tooling box now being offered by GKN, includes special tools for driveshaft repair: a practical joint puller for the effortless disassembly of the joint in front of the shaft, two threaded bolts (in various thread diameters, specifically for short pivot joints) and two special tools, one of them with a hold down device for fitting stainless steel clamps to plastic and rubber parts, while maintaining the specified torques. The case also includes a professional torque wrench.

The tool kit order number is 190990. Tool can also be ordered individually.
