We see Galway as a strategically important location for us in our expanding network and are looking forward to working with the team here over the coming weeks and months to make this site the hub of our operations in the north west of Ireland.”

This acquisition will see Fix Auto Collision and NOVUS Glass services being offered in the Galway area for the first time.

Speaking to Autobiz Frank said he was delighted to have reached an agreement with Fix Auto that will benefit all parties and his loyal customers and he is currently helping to ensure a smooth transition to the new ownership. He commented, “I very proud of what we have achieved in building the business from humble origins to be a flagship award winning bodyshop over 17 years. I have loved working in the industry and I am very grateful for all the opportunities it has provided.” Frank added, “I have met some great people in the bodyshop business over the years and I would like to thank everyone for their positive comments.”

As well as looking for new challenges in the coming months, Frank will also be involved in the on-going development of his separate alloy wheel business, Frank Byrnes Alloys in Galway.
