For the 2015 Mondello Truck Show in association with Calor Gas, on the 5th & 6th of September, a special area will be provided for Iveco, FIAT, Seddon Atkinson, Magirus-Deutz and Iveco Ford badged trucks, as the Italian company celebrates its 40th Anniversary.
The 40th birthday bash at Mondello Park, County Kildare, will see its paddock area full of variety and colour as proud owners of the various brands within the Iveco family display their pride ‘n’ joys.
Iveco was established in 1975 when a number of top European truck manufacturers came together, including FIAT, Magirus-Deutz, Lancia, Unic and OM, combining 150 years of experience and brand expertise. From 1986, Ford of Europe joined the family, followed four years later by British brand Seddon Atkinson, which at the time was part of Spain’s Pegaso Group.
Fiat Trucks were first introduced into Ireland by Mayo man Frank Fahey when Frank Fahey Commercials began importing the brand in the late seventies.
“We are looking forward to welcoming as many Iveco associated truck brands as possible to the Mondello Truck Show. The company has acquired a number of renowned brands over four decades. We know that there are many owners of these trucks here in Ireland and their presence will make a great spectacle at the Show,” said Roddy Greene, General Manager, Mondello Park.
All Truck Owners wishing to be part off the Mondello Park Truck Show and the feature IVECO area, must book their space in advance by contacting Mondello Park on 045-860200. For all of the 2015 Mondello Truck Show information see www.mondellopark.ie.
