Ford Ireland has announced 'celebrity' chef Kevin Dundon as a Ford Ambassador.

Kevin who owns and runs the Dunbrody Country House Hotel and Cookery School in Co. Wexford recently took delivery of a new Ford Mondeo.

Originally from Dublin, Kevin has hosted TV programmes in Ireland, the UK, Canada and the US.  In the coming months, Kevin will move into the world of brewing as he plans to launch a new craft beer that is brewed onsite at Dunbrody House.  Highlighting the location of Dunbrody in Arthurstown, Co. Wexford, the new beer will be called Arthurstown Brew.

"We are delighted to welcome Kevin on board as a Ford Ambassador," says Ciaràn McMahon, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland.  "Kevin is probably Ireland's most recognisable chef and is renowned for his entrepreneurship and innovation so we feel the new Ford Mondeo with its mix of sleek profile and cutting edge driver-assistance technologies fit his personality perfectly."

"I am honoured to be named as a Ford Ambassador," says Kevin Dundon. "An average week for me could see me attending events in Donegal and Cork so I am on the road quite a lot.  The Mondeo has always been a great driver's car and it is the ideal vehicle for coping with my hectic schedule. Plus with three children who each have equally hectic schedules, the space and comfort of Mondeo is a huge bonus."

Kevin is driving the Mondeo Titanium 2.0 TDCi 150PS 5 door with Adaptive Headlamps and a Titanium Sports Pack which includes: 18" Alloy wheels, Full Body Kit, Rear Spoiler and Privacy Glass.
