Mondello Park has taken the decision to cancel the opening round of the 'Parts for Cars' Irish Rallycross Championship which was scheduled for this coming Sunday, March 4th.

The decision has been taken due to uncertainty regarding the weather conditions on Sunday and the need to avoid the inconvenience to travelling competitors, marshals and officials, if it became necessary to cancel closer to the event.

The championship organisers will look at the Mondello Park calendar over the coming days to see where an alternative date can be scheduled and the new date will be announced as soon as possible. Any changes to the rallycross calendar will be publicised through updates on the championships' social media channels and on www.irx.ie & www.mondellopark.ie.
