First Line has introduced a new fitting tool to help technicians install replacement components correctly and efficiently. The FLST100 is a fitting tool for the rear trailing arm bushes on the Mk IV Ford Mondeo and other models.

With the aid of the tool, a technician can save up to three hours on the replacement fitting process when changing both left and right bushes because there is no need to disconnect or open any brake pipes. This means the bleeding of the brakes that was previously required is no longer necessary and the tool also dispenses with the need to remove the hub from the arm or disturb the brake calliper.

In addition to the Ford Mondeo Mk IV, the tool can also be used on the Galaxy 2006 to 2010 and S-Max 2006 to 2013, as well as the Volvo S60 II, S70 III and the V60 2010 onwards.

First Line has also announced that it has been awarded a Supplier of the Year 2013 Silver Award, from the IFA. Commenting on this Managing Director Dan Joyner said, “Recognition from our customers as being a good and trustworthy supplier is always a privilege to receive and to get it from such a strong organisation as the IFA is particularly pleasing.”
