The Fiat 500 has gone topless with the launch of a new convertible model. The first country to receive, what will no doubt be a sought-after addition to the popular mini Fiat range, is not sunny Spain or stylish Italy, but the rainy UK. Appropriately the first owner of the new topless 500 is supermodel Elle Macpherson.  

Elle was one of many celebrities and Fait 500 fans at the launch party in London. The UK, which despite the recent poor summers is still convertible mad, is the first market in the world to receive the new Fiat 500 C, just 18 months after the UK launch of the Fiat 500 hardtop.
