The significant benefits of parts remanufacturing, both in terms of environmental pluses and cost savings are now very well established. With the growth of remanufacturing, companies involved in the Irish motor trade now recognise the value of core and many work very successfully with Eurolec Core Supply to get the best value and service on used components.

Eurolec Core Supply operates throughout Ireland, collecting and providing maximum value on parts such as; starters, alternators, injectors and pumps, turbos, EGR valves and air-con components, calipers, engines and steering units.

The business has many long standing customers in Ireland, who appreciate the family values of the company and the friendly and reliable service it can offer.

Based in the UK West Midlands, the company can trace it origins back to 1979 and was a pioneer in buying and selling used starter motors and alternators. Over its 44 years it has been marshalled by two Directors, Michael Hadley and William Hadley, who’s primary focus is the core department.

In 2012 William’s son Adam joined the company in the core department, first gaining experience on the ground in the warehouse, before becoming a key member of the business team and helping to move the company into more component areas in addition to starters and alternators, a move that has brought steady and sustained growth.

The company ethos is such that it remains small, employing only ten staff, while having a far-reaching supplier and customer base across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world. Both William and Adam believe in valuing their workforce. William says, “We couldn’t operate without our small focussed team, every contribution they make enables the company to grow and become more and more successful.”

A testament to the company values is the record of long serving employees. The Factory Manager for instance, has been with them since 1983 and ensures the warehouse and stock data information runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Brexit has provided many fresh challenges for the company, but through good communication with customers and sound management the business has managed to continue trading in Ireland and the rest of the EU largely unaffected and indeed has been able to continue its growth.

Part of the reason for this was the addition of Angela Morgan to the team in May 2021 to look after the operations of the company. Angela has implemented many new systems to ensure the smooth running of the business.  William says, “Two years in and we can rely on Angela to take care of the operations, from the accounts, HR and administration right through to the transport and customer service.”

Reflecting on the company William says, “When I look back over the years I am immensely proud of what this company has achieved. Our success is a balance of employing the right team, excellent suppliers and fantastic customers.”
