Stephen Graham, Parts & Accessories Manager, Western Motors, Drogheda has been awarded the prestigious title of national ŠKODA Parts & Accessories Manager, as part of the ŠKODA service challenge 2014.


Stephen will now go on to compete in an international competition representing Ireland in the Parts & Accessories category and will compete for the title of Individual World Champion.

Now in its fifth year, the ŠKODA service challenge has become an important benchmark for measuring the qualities of the best employees in the global ŠKODA service network and includes three different categories; Parts & Accessory Manager, Service Advisor and Service Technician. The Service Challenge is the largest comparative event for employees in the ŠKODA service network and consists of several rounds and focuses on theoretical as well as practical knowledge.

Originally from Lusk in North County Dublin, Stephen has been working in the industry for over seven years and started in Western Motors just over a year ago immediately joining the Parts team and is currently the Parts & Accessory Manager in the Drogheda dealership.

Commenting on the awards David Rave, Head of Aftersales ŠKODA Ireland said: “We are delighted to announce Stephen as the category winner for the Parts & Accessories Category in the ŠKODA service challenge for 2014. Stephen is a very worthy winner and has demonstrated a lot of commitment and knowledge over the past year. Stephen will now represent Ireland in the Spring in ŠKODA HQ in the Czech Republic and we wish him all the best”.

Also commenting, Simon McCormack, Dealer Principal, Western Motors said “Stephen is a valued member of the Western Motors team and we are very proud that a representative from our dealership has claimed the national title. We wish him all the best in the international event and hope he does the dealership proud.”
