To celebrate the arrival of the new Ford Mustang in Ireland later this year, Ford Ireland is offering you and a friend the opportunity to experience the drive of a lifetime.

Picture yourself behind the wheel of a new 2015 Ford Mustang driving along the famous Route 66 on a two week drive adventure from Chicago to California taking in some of the most famous roads and milestones in the US including Tulsa, Amarillo, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, and Las Vegas before reaching the final destination in Santa Monica, California.

To win the opportunity to participate in this unforgettable drive experience all you have to do is go to the Ford Ireland Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/fordireland) and submit your entry for the competition by simply completing the phrase: "I would like to drive the New Ford Mustang across America with...."

Taking place over two weeks in September next, the Mustang Drive Experience will see a group 50 people drive the latest version of the iconic Mustang along this historic route.  The Drive Experience is a fully guided tour under the auspices of experienced tour organiser, Celtic Horizon Tours.

Prospective Mustang drivers have until noon on Tuesday July 21 to submit their entry and the winner will be announced on Friday July 24.
