A new system for the repair of bent steel and aluminium panels is now available on the Irish market, that will make panel repair instead of replacement a far more convenient and cost effective option.

Manufactured by Basic Welding and distributed in Ireland by Maintenance Solutions, the Pro Pull Plus System has already enjoyed huge success in the UK market and is now set to be adopted by many Irish repairers.

For example, Basic Welding say that for a sill repair, where average repair time may be in the region of 5 hours, with the Pro Pull Plus, typical repair time can be reduced to less than 1 hour, offering a potential saving of 4 hours labour time. Repair rather than replacement also means no parts are required, making the job more profitable for the bodyshop. This also has the advantage of no parts waiting time, which in turn means faster throughput and reduced courtesy car costs.

The innovative Pro Pull Plus system is available in three packages. Pro 1 is a complete system for aluminium and steel repairs, including digital control aluminium stud welder, Pro 2 is a complete system for steel repairs, and Pro 3 is an entry level system which can be used in conjunction with existing equipment.

Basic Welding also intends to offer other equipment packages and welding training courses to Irish bodyshops in the coming months.
