According to a decision taken by the EU Commission, daytime running lights are to be made compulsory for all vehicles newly registered from summer 2010. Almost all vehicles can now be equipped with these lights.

Hella has a retrofit range of universal and vehicle-specific daytime running lights currently available, both with LEDs and with bulbs, which are ECE approved. It takes on average one to two hours for the lights to be installed depending on the vehicle.
