Dayco is very well known as an OE supplier in the automotive sector, but is also a major player when it comes to the design and manufacture of original equipment power transmission components to the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. As well as its expertise in belts, the company is now one of the world’s largest OE auxiliary tensioner suppliers for the CV sector.

Minimising vehicle downtime is a top priority for fleet operators and Dayco is relied upon by vehicle manufacturers whose need to incorporate high quality components into every aspect of their vehicle design, gives fleet operators and CV  workshops complete reassurance when it come to installing its replacement components during a vehicle service or repair.

The Dayco CV range includes belts, tensioners, pulleys and idlers and has been formulated to provide the independent sector with both the depth of range to cater for every conceivable requirement and the product reference data to ensure the correct replacement is identified for the specific application.

The range is backed by high level of customer support, which ensures Dayco partners have access to expert technical knowledge and product availability. As part of this commitment Dayco has just released its 2016 Heavy Duty catalogue, which contains more than 700 part numbers, covering in excess of 350,000 applications to provide the solution for 97% of the European vehicle parc.

Among a wealth of new content to be found in the 1,300-page publication is the expansion of both applications and part numbers, with a particular focus on poly-v belt kits (KPVs) and tensioners (APVs).

The catalogue is considered by many to be a benchmark for the entire industry and is available both in printed and digital form, with specific apps for Apple, Android and Windows smartphones and tablets.

The online catalogue can be accessed at www.daycogarage.com and allows users to identify product characteristics, view fitting instructions for each specific applications, as well as access to the supporting diagnosis information for inspecting and replacing essential engine components. Users can search for replacement parts by entering the vehicle model and engine type, or by entering the Dayco part number directly.
