Refinish paint supplier Cromax has launched an updated version of ChromaWeb, the comprehensive colour retrieval and product management cloud-based software package linked to its global colour database.

The upgrade delivers even greater ease-of-use for refinishers and helps them to work more productively, thanks to more streamlined navigation, including less scrolling, more intuitive information selection, in touch-screen mode, larger icons and entry fields.

Kevin Welling, Training Academy Manager for Axalta Coating Systems says, “Our aim with this update is to make ChromaWeb even easier and more flexible to work with for refinishers. We know this will help them speed up their work processes in the mixing room and help to improve productivity. When using the updated software, refinishers will notice the core features are now conveniently grouped into three options: Basic View, Full View and Settings. This way, users can see as much or as little as they want depending whether they are a refinisher or bodyshop manager. And we have increased the touch-screen functionality throughout. Overall, the update provides a really user-friendly, fast interface.”

ChromaWeb, which is designed to deliver colour, product and software updates immediately when connected to the Internet, also offers a lot of versatility for refinishers. They can work in touch-screen mode or with a mouse in desktop mode. Thanks to the pre-defined individual product settings, the interface can be personalised for the user. ChromaWeb is also password protected and  is fully accessible from any device that connects to the Internet, including smartphones and tablets at the same time.

For those who use ChromaWeb online, the new update is available immediately.
