From a field of 35 candidates for the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2013 awards the shortlist of 11 car has been announced by the Irish Motoring Writers Association (IMWA) today. 


The shortlist is as follows:

BMW 3 Series
BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé
BMW M5
Ford B-Max
Kia cee'd
Kia Optima
Mazda CX-5
Mercedes-Benz M-Class
Peugeot 208
Toyota GT86
Volvo V40

The Continental Irish Car of the Year and Continental Irish Van of the Year will be revealed at a gala event in the Convention Centre, Dublin, on Thursday 22nd November.
