Manbat has introduced the Connect + Reset Battery Validation Tool which it says will ensure the longevity and performance of a newly-installed battery, especially with vehicles with Start-Stop EFB/AGM technology.

Manbat says that If you replace a battery but do not diagnostically validate it then It will continue to manage the ‘New’ battery in an assumed degraded state, causing overcharging, stop/start issues and highly probable premature failure.

The Connect + Reset Battery Validation Tool provides for accurate battery validation and is easy to use with a simple six button operation and a high contrast LED graphics display. , This means the user can easily navigate through the menu structures to validate a replacement battery in as little as 60 seconds. Additional software options are available and the units is easily updateable via a USB port.

The equipment is suitable for all replacement battery situations, whether it is  ‘like for like’ or  changing the technology of the replacement from AGM to ECM.

With the Connect + Reset Battery Validation Tool users also have full access to the PC Suite, PC Suite store, instruction guides, and vehicle application lists.
