Effective from the start of 2015 Component Distributors, part of the CD

Group, have appointed Iain Knox as Sales Manager.  Reporting to Sales Director Hugo Murphy, Iain will be heading up the sales team in the Republic of Ireland.  Commenting on Iain’s appointment Hugo said "Iain has been with the business now for over 6 years and has learnt every aspect of the operation.”
 
An accomplished sportsman, Iain represented Ireland U19 at the 1997 Rugby World Cup in Argentina, where they finished 3rd.  He also manages to continue to hold down a single figure golf handicap. A qualified physiotherapist, Iain was also part of the Irish Cricket World Cup management team when they qualified for the knock out stages of the 2007 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies.

In 2008 Iain joined the CD Group with the intention of building a career in the Automotive Aftermarket.  Commenting on his recent appointment Iain said, "I am really excited about this new role.  Since the company opened its new RDC in Cork in 2011 I have spent a lot of time with the team both there and in Dublin.”
