Burns Car Sales, main Skoda dealers in Sligo, were the proud sponsors of the very successful An Post Tour of Sligo Cycle, which took place on the 8th of May last.

Over 1,800 cyclists took part, taking their bikes on a route all over Sligo.  Burns Car Sales provided vehicle support along the way.

The star of the day was world cycling legend Sean Kelly, who attended the event with Shane Burns, Burns Car Sales, acting as chauffeur for Sean in a 2011 Skoda Octavia demonstration. Sean travelled around with Shane on the day ensuring he had a chance to cycle on each of the four routes travelled by the competitors.
