Brake Engineering’s marketing support & communications co-ordinator, Emma Turnbull, is having her hair dramatically cut in a bid to raise money for the Little Princess Trust.

Taking place on 30 September, Emma’s very long natural blonde hair, which is currently down to her hips, will have at least 12 inches ‘chopped off’.

The Little Princess Trust is a charity that funds cancer research and gives real hair wigs to children that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.

The Little Princess Trust, in partnership with CCLG (Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group), awarded over £500,000 to fund research into childhood cancers in 2016.  Further to this, the charity gave away another £106,000 to other research projects at the very start of 2017. The research funding total now stands at a staggering £1.2million.

Emma said: “I’ve never done anything quite like this before, so while a little nervous, I’m determined to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity, which makes such a positive impact for young children.”
