Blue Print highlights spring cabin filter opportunities

Spring is traditionally the time of year when cabin filters should be checked and replaced, something that offers a significant business opportunity for garages.

Parts supplier Blue Print has continued to add to its range to meet rising demand. It now supplies almost 400 different cabin filters, for a variety of makes and models including Toyota, Nissan and Jaguar.

Blue Print says that its cabin filter range offer many benefits for both garages and motorists. It features filter materials that match the standard of the original equipment manufacturer, including high quality foam seals that ensures tightness of fit, providing better sealing than lower quality designs that use lateral wings. Filters also come with a stable lateral strip, or with a plastic frame, which ensures 100% fit and stability, and prevents deformation. The material used is moisture-resistant to avoid water ingress.

Depending on application some cabin filters contain polyphenols to prevent the growth of bacteria and other micro-organisms on the filter. They are designed to prevent allergens such as birch pollen, fungal spores and formaldehyde from entering the passenger compartment.
Where required and following OE specification, activated carbon filters are available that attract and trap the smallest of particles such as NOx and hydrogen sulphide.

For the motorist a cabin filter replacement offers many advantages and is something that they will find is instantly beneficial. They mean reduced condensation or film build up on the inside of the windshield, something that can be an important safety consideration. A fresh filter will also greatly reduce the amount of pollen entering the cabin and create a far more comfortable environment for people with allergies or asthma. They also reduce the occupant’s exposure to pollutants that are hazardous to health. Regular filter replacement will also extend the lifetime of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Blue Print says its filtration programme offers a cost-effective aftermarket alternative, without compromising on quality. It covers over 22,000 applications, providing OE matching quality cabin filters, with first time fitment and long service life.

The Blue Print cabin filter range is available from stockist nationwide. Full details can also be found on the Blue Print LIVE! electronic catalogue at www.blue-print.com/blueprintlive.
