As ever, the stand of the bilstein group was one of the busiest at Automechaika Frankfurt as the group presented its latest product and service innovations from its febi, SWAG and Blue Print brands.

Innovative display units, with sliding presentation drawers, allowed visitors to see a wide range of parts within their product groups and a get a flavour of the comprehensive parts offering available from the German supplier.

Also on the stand was a special section for bilstein group Engineering which highlighted the company’s recently enhanced manufacturing facilities. This demonstrated how the bilstein  group  is  much  more  than  a  spare  parts supplier, but is also a manufacturer of specialist parts with almost 175 years manufacturing experience.

As ever the diversity of the range on offer from the bilstein brands was a major talking point. The company is often first to market with replacement components and offers thousands of parts which many workshops often assume need to be dealer sourced. To promote this idea “partsfinder” the bilstein group’s new enhanced online parts search engine was being demonstrated on the stand.

The free to access resource now includes febi truck parts and provides a fast and reliable means of identifying the components required for a repair from a few keywords in just three clicks. The comprehensive product information includes 360-degree illustrations, specifications and safety data sheets.

The system also features a "Car Park" function in which frequently searched models can be saved and quickly called up, as well as the option of creating individual catalogues from the results list.
