One of the key players in the UK insurance and bodyhsop sector has announced that it is to drop EurotaxGlass’s in favour of the Audatex system, for computerised claims management throughout its approved repair network.

All AXA approved UK bodyshops will be required to adopt Audatex’s estimating system in a phased introduction from October. However, Audatex have said that this should not require too much of a dramatic change, as four out of five AXA bodyshops already use the system for some other insurers.

Glass’s remains the preferred system of Irish insurers at present, although Audatex does appear to be making in-roads into the market and is currently on trial with a least one major repairer.
