Vehicle depollution equipment specialists AutoDrain, were at the recent Equip Auto exhibition and used the occasion to introduce a new compact fuel recovery unit.
AutoDrain is a leader in the field of fuel recovery and storage equipment, with a range to suit all types of user. The Fuel Scavenger is especially popular as a mobile unit that allows for petrol, diesel or contaminated fuel removal from all makes of vehicle. To complement the existing range, the Workshop Fuel Scavenger 90 has now been introduced, which provides a more economical solution to fuel removal needs.
The easy to use unit complies with all safety standards and includes a unique system to exhaust petrol vapours from the workshop. 3 tools are included to allow a number of methods to be used to recover fuel. The equipment is compressed air operated with no pump or moving parts, ensuring long service life. It is supplied with suction probes to recover fuel via the filler neck, fuel line or sender unit. The unit is also DSEAR and ATEX compliant.
