  A new era of motoring was unveiled in the South East  on Friday eneving 21st September as Audi Waterford opened the doors to its new state-of-the art showroom.


Located at Butlerstown Roundabout, Cork Road, Waterford, the new terminal style showroom will display 17 new Audi models and up to 80 used cars.

Audi Waterford is owned and operated by Anthony Boland while Brendan Walsh will be the General Manager. The opening of this new showroom is expected to create up to 30 jobs in the area over the next two years.

The €6m investment in Audi Waterford forms part of an overall strategic plan for Audi Ireland. Audi is investing €80 million in its dealer network and is currently in the process of rolling out 10 dedicated Audi dealerships throughout Ireland with other openings planned for later this year.

Anthony Boland of Audi Waterford said; “We are delighted to unveil our new Audi showroom in Waterford and bring an unrivalled customer experience to the South East. This €6m investment signals Audi’s long term commitment to Waterford and the surrounding area and we look forward to welcome new and existing customers through the doors.”

The new Audi showroom in Waterford is yet another major positive development for Audi as it comes on the back of a successful 2012 to date for Audi both in Ireland and globally.

We have increased sales by 9.2 percent in Ireland, selling more cars in eight months this year than the whole of 2011, and we are the number one premium car marque in Ireland. We will continue to invest in Ireland, to provide a level of quality customer service second to none.”
