Audi Ireland continues to invest in its dealer network in Ireland with the opening of its latest terminal in Naas, Co. Kildare.

Located on the Newbridge Road, the €5 million state-of-the art terminal style showroom currently employs 14 staff and is expected to grow this number to 40 over the next two years. The opening of Audi Naas forms part of Audi Ireland’s €80 million investment in its dealer network with further openings planned for later in the year.

Designed by EMD Architects, this new facility boasts a 12 car showroom, 40 used-car spaces, together with a workshop containing six service bays fully kitted out with the latest technology.

Frank Kelly, dealer principal of Audi Naas commented, “We are delighted to officially open the doors of this fantastic new facility to motorists in the Kildare area. The Audi brand has gone from strength-to-strength in this region with last year giving us a record 5% market share.”

“We plan to continue this success in 2013 and €5 million has been invested in this showroom to provide Audi customers in Kildare and the surrounding area with an efficient, innovative showroom, and an unrivalled customer service experience. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers through the doors over the coming months.”

Andrew Doyle, managing director of Audi Ireland said; “We are now almost halfway through our €80 million development of the network in Ireland and the opening of this latest showroom reaffirms our commitment to the Irish market. This new premium Audi ‘Terminal’ will allow customers in Kildare and the surrounding area to enjoy the very best motoring experience that Audi has to offer.”

“Last year was a challenging but successful one for Audi Ireland. We increased our sales by 7.1% in 2012, in a market that contracted 12%, and I am delighted to say we are Ireland’s number one premium car brand for the fourth year running. This year-on-year growth gives Audi a 4.6% market share, the most it has ever enjoyed in the Irish market. We plan to continue this success into 2013 through continued investment in our network and new product launches such as the A3 Sportback which is arriving in early February.”
