Best known for the supply of filters, MAHLE can now offer OEM approved fully automatic service units for both types of gas currently in use with vehicle air conditioning systems. These units benefit from all the air-con knowledge and experience of Behr and MAHLE and are available for both R134a and 1234yf refrigerant types.

Air-con is now standard on most modern cars and this means there is a rapidly growing market for system maintenance and repair. This excellent market potential in the AC service segment and the change in refrigerant specifications in the EU, has driven MAHLE Aftermarket to expand its product range for service units. In addition to ACxpert 1000a from Behr Service for R134a refrigerant, the company also  is now also offering its own unit for R1234yf refrigerant, the MAHLE ArcticPro 200yf. Both of these advanced equipment items are available through MAHLE Aftermarket and Behr Service.

Thanks to its acquisition of RTI Technologies, a US specialist in repair shop service equipment, MAHLE has been able to add to its development and production expertise in fluid service equipment, particularly in AC service units. This has resulted in the state-of-the-art HVAC service unit ArcticPro 200yf for R1234yf refrigerant. This has already been technically approved by several vehicle manufacturers.
