The Adelaide Masters Series returns to Mondello Park on April 11th & 12th with continued support from title sponsor, Belfast based Motorcycle Insurance specialists, Adelaide Motorbike Insurance.

The 'Masters' continues to be the stand out championship on the Irish short circuit racing calendar, and two of Ireland's most spectacular racers will start as favourites to be the first to win two Adelaide Masters Superbike titles. Brian McCormack and Derek Sheils will both be on the grid with new machinery for 2015 ready to battle each other and the rest of the Superbike field for that coveted second title.

Sheils will hit Mondello Park with a new team, riding under the banner of BikeBitsNI, a team with years of Adelaide Masters experience in Supersport and Supertwins but making their debut in the Superbike class. The Dubliner will ride Kawasaki Superbike and Supersport machinery for the Northern Irish based team. Waterford’s McCormack continues to run his own team and this year has purchased a 2014 Superbike to try and get back to championship winning ways. The bikes will once again appear in the colours of TAG Racing.

Although McCormack and Sheils are tipped to be the ones to beat they will have to watch out for the likes of Gerard Kinghan, Damien Byrne, who is back on a Honda following a disappointing year on a Kawasaki, and the ‘Cup’ class of 2014, Raymond Casey and Declan Hoey who will both graduate to the Pro class for this season.

Rounds two and three of the Adelaide Masters Superbike Championship will be shown live on Mondello.TV on Sunday April 12th. For those who can’t make it to Mondello Park there will also be an increased social media presence for the Masters throughout the opening weekend and fans can join the conversation using #adelaidemasters as well as following the live timing on adelaidemasters.ie.
