Team Peugeot Total secured its first victory at this year's thrilling Le Mans 24-Hour Race in the 908 HDi FAP. The three-car Peugeot entry monopolised the race to take first place, second place, and sixth place and posted the fastest lap of the race. The winning machine (N°9, Gené/Wurz /Brabham) finished seven laps clear of the N°1 Audi, ending Audi's 5-year dominance at Le Mans.

The weekend's result now takes Peugeot's Le Mans victories to three, following previous triumphs in 1992 and 1993. The 908 HDi FAP is equipped with the same diesel technology found in over 2 million PSA Peugeot cars on the road today.
