A speedy recovery?

A speedy recovery?

It is one of the fastest production cars in the world, but this Bugatti Veyron came to a grinding halt in a Texas salt marsh and needed the assistance of a local recovery operator to stop that sinking feeling. The $1.25 million Veyron was being driven along a shore road when the driver said he was distracted first by a low flying pelican and then by a dropped mobile phone.

This resulted in him veering off the road and into the water. Mysteriously the crash happened to be filmed by a passing motorist and posted on YouTube. There also appears to be no sign of any pelican. The supercar was recovered by MCH Towing, but with accident and salt water damage it is thought it could be a very expensive write off.
