UFI Filters goes on track again together with its brand ambassador, influencer and driver Archie Hamilton, this year in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

Last year, the YouTube and Instagram star claimed 4th place overall with 6 podium places in the Porsche Cayman Sprint Challenge 2020 and this year he steps up in the world of racing taking part in the Porsche Carrera Cup, together with AHR Motorsport with Brookspeed Racing.

One of the toughest series in the world, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB averages over 20 Porsche 911s battling it out over 8 rounds across UK circuits. The single marque GT racing championship acts as a support bill to the highly popular British Touring Car Championship with races shown live on the  ITV4, registering an average attendance of 30,000 people.

The 30-year-old driver began competing professionally in 2009, combining a successful career in Formula Ford, Formula Renault, Porsche Carrera Cup, GT Open and Le Mans. In 2015 he stopped to focus on building his online brand, Archie Hamilton Racing, experiencing an outstanding success. Today, his social platforms are very popular, over 204,000 followers on Instagram, 328,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, with a reach of 24 million users in Europe and the UK in the last 90 days. His online presence is constantly growing, with over 50 thousand more followers on YouTube than last year, making him the right brand ambassador for UFI Filters to achieve further penetration and visibility on the market.

The supercar driven by Archie, the Porsche Carrera 911 GT3 Cup is powered by a 4.0 liter six-cylinder 485 horsepower rear-wheel drive boxer engine, supported by a six-speed PDK transmission.

UFI Filters boasts a solid reputation in the supply of filtration solutions for the racing sector, a business that began more than 40 years ago and continues today with over 110 individual parts supplied for each Formula 1 race.

Karl Ridings, UK & Ireland Sales Director & General Manager, Aftermarket comments, “We have full confidence in Archie’s great potential and are proud to continue this partnership which will strengthen our brand awareness within a growing segment of the market.”
