Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG has launched the ‘MEYLE Cat’-App, an easy-to-use i-Pad application offering clearly structured technical information and product images which can also be accessed offline.

The app offers five different options to search for parts. Once located it provides clearly structured product information and 360-degree illustrations for over 200 items. As an added extra, the app includes a summary of the benefits that technically enhanced MEYLE-HD parts offer over original designs with all data being updated on a daily basis and in six different languages. A free download version of the App has recently been made available in the Apple App Store with the Android version to follow soon in the Google Play Store.

"Users will benefit from the wealth of information and concise technical details along with the advanced search options which simplify part search and allow repair professionals to identify the required items quickly and easily", says Inga Weyrauch, Head of Information Management at Wulf Gaertner Autoparts. Once the data has been downloaded, it is also available offline, very useful for when a mechanic has no Wi-fi coverage. Users can search by five different options; vehicle model, product group, part number, cross-reference number and OE number.

The ‘MEYLE Cat’-App is free for download from the Apple App Store, with the Android version on Google Playstore available shortly. The ‘MEYLE Cat’-App is also a kiosk application allowing users to store on its virtual shelves free download copies of other MEYLE catalogues. The App is available in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian.
