German oil and additive specialist LIQUI MOLY has introduced Top Tec 6320 5W-30 oil primarily developed for Citroën, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot and Toyota petrol and diesel vehicles fitted with PSA engines.

LIQUI MOLY’s latest motor oil is suitable for engine types that require a lubricant with the specification Stellantis FPW9.55535/03 or PSA B71 2290, PSA B71 2297 as well as ACEA C3 and API SP. “With Top Tec 6320 5W-30, we offer a product that can be used in many vehicles on the market.  We are adding this oil to our existing range for Stellantis Group brands to offer the right oil for every vehicle,”” says Reiner Schönfelder, Application Engineer in LIQUI MOLY’s Research and Development department.

The new engine oil is suitable for EB2 petrol engines and for DV5R, DW10F and DW12R diesel engines built from 2012 onwards. “Many of these vehicles have a toothed belt that runs in oil. As a result, the engines are subject to a great deal of abrasion and wear. The current specification is aimed at this requirement in particular,” explains Reiner. “To prevent wear on the toothed belt, it is essential to use the right oil and strictly adhere to the prescribed change intervals.”

The low-ash low-friction motor oil from LIQUI MOLY protects the engine against wear and soot deposits and keeps it clean, thanks to its excellent cleaning and dirt-carrying capacity. This also prevents low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), an unwanted premature ignition in the engine that can lead to irreparable engine damage. This premature combustion occurs in modern downsized petrol engines with direct injection. “Our new Top Tec 6320 5W-30 protects the engine and contributes towards longer service life,” says Reiner.

Top Tec 6320 5W-30 is now available from LIQUI MOLY stockists.
