With staff in short supply, time is more vital than ever in the workshop environment and many repairers have turned to the innovative Mini-Ductor induction heating tool to save time on many jobs and improve flexibility.

The handy induction heating tool is not only excellent for the safe removal of seized parts, but also a  variety of other bodyshop related tasks such as the removal of mouldings and graphics and soft dent repair.

The kit includes a 7/8” pre-formed coil, 41” Bearing Buddy, and a 23” U-form, Shape-It-Yourself or DIY coil. The coils are flexible and can be bent to perform a variety of applications. For example, the U-form coil can be shaped into a “pancake coil” which can be used to heat the top of a flat surface making it useful on soft surface dents. The user simply holds the connected flat coil about half an inch to an inch over the top of the dent, heating in a small circular motion around the crown of the dent or the outside circle, gradually bringing the coil closer to the dent. As soon as the dent shrinks, the user pulls the U-form coil away and cools the treated area with a damp cloth.

By using this method, repairers of all kind can reduce both time and cost on repairs, as well as having a tool that has hundreds of other uses around the workshop. It is especially well suited to the safe and easy removal of body moulding and graphics.
