Lighting specialist Philips is urging garages and motorist to change bulbs in pairs when headlamps are faulty this winter.


The company says that it is safer and makes sense to change headlamp bulbs in pairs because lamps deteriorate faster as they get older. When the first one blows, the second will probably fail shortly after and changing both at once is much more convenient and economical. 

Philips offers an extensive range of OE Xenon and Halogen bulb types that are designed to deliver quality, performance and style in all driving conditions. They are also available in dual packs to make it easier and cheaper to change both sides at the same time.

To promote the campaign Philips has created a website at www.philips.com/changeinpairs and produced an informative video that can be viewed below.
