To offer greater speed and efficiency on everyday jobs in the workshop, Laser Tools has developed a new pull-back rapid-action ratchet design. Laser says the new tools redefine speed and effectiveness wherever a conventional ratchet handle would be used.

The 3/8” inch drive spins more than 360 degrees with a simple pump of the patented pull-back grip. Two ratchet lengths are available: part number 7376 (350mm) and part number 7377 (230mm). The user simply attaches the socket or driver, then secures onto the fastener that needs to be removed. This is a dual-action tool where the user will loosen off the fastener in the conventional way by turning the handle and then operate the pull-back grip to quickly remove the fastener. To change direction, the user simply pushes the drive post through and re-attaches the driver to start tightening.

The company says using the tool repetitive fastener removal times can be cut in half. The longer version (part number 7376) is particularly useful when access is limited.

These pull-back rapid-action ratchets are now available from Laser stockists.
