Nissens Automotive, has supplemented its existing range of commercial vehicle (CV) expansion tanks with the addition of passenger car (PC) and light commercial vehicle (LCV) applications.

The expansion tank plays a vital role in maintaining optimum engine cooling performance. It was therefore natural for Nissens Automotive, a company with 100 years of experience in engine cooling and that already has CV expansion tanks in its range, to extend the offering to cater for the PC and LCV segments.

"We always look at how we can extend our offering to create the most value for the market,” said Steffen B. Jensen, Nissens Automotive’s Head of Product Management, “and with this product extension, our programme carries even more potential for our customers, making it easier for them to cover a larger portion of thermal system components from a single supplier."

As well as providing workshops with premium quality products, which prove reliable and robust, these newly launched expansion tanks are also part of Nissens' 'First Fit' concept. The product is therefore a plug-and-play solution that contains all the parts, such as caps and pressure sensors, necessary to make installation as quick and easy as possible for technicians.

The initial PC/LCV expansion tank range includes 52-part numbers, covering more than 200 OE references, so also provides an attractive proposition for distributors, giving them a competitive product offering with logistical benefits and extra value. It therefore complements the other products in the Nissens engine cooling programme, which already contains radiators, oil coolers, fans, and water pumps, as well as fan clutches for CV and LCV applications.
